The Institute for Professional Education and Innovation Support, registration no .: 8332088000 (hereinafter only as “E-coopedu”) pays great attention to the protection of personal data. This document provides information about what personal data we process, in particular about our users of the www.ecoopedu.com website, whether we process this data on the basis of given consent or other legal basis, for what specific purposes we use it, to whom we may provide and what are your rights in connection with the processing of your personal data. In order to prevent unauthorized access to or disclosure of personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act, maintain the accuracy of personal data and ensure their proper use, we use appropriate technical and organizational procedures to protect personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act ( http: / /pisrs.si/Pis.web/pregledPredpisa?id=ZAKO3906 ) and with the General Regulation on Data Protection no. 2016/679 (https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/sl/TXT/?uri=CELEX:32016R0679) (https://www.ip-rs.si/zakonodaja/). We use appropriate technological and organizational means in the collection and transfer of personal data.
What personal data do we process?
If you use our services, we collect various types of your information, such as your username and password, your contact information and other settings. We follow which content on the portal interests you the most and which of the content sent via e-mail interested you. Based on this, we create additional information so that we can provide you with professional educational content of your choice and so that we can further improve our website and services in the future.
We process the following personal data:
identification data, including name and surname, username and password;
contact information, which includes personal information with the help of which we may contact you, e-mail address;
your settings, which include information about your account, registration for professional meetings, subscriptions to videos of professional meetings, news, search content, your ratings and comments on certain content on the portal;
information about your online habits (online behavior), including instances when you browse the web through our portal, information about the content and services you are looking for, links you click on, how to search and navigate our website, and information about the devices from which you access the Internet, the device ID, its technical parameters, such as the operating system, version, screen resolution, selected browser and version thereof, and data obtained from cookies and similar technologies for identifying devices;
information about your behavior in connection with reading the messages we send you, the time required to open the message and information about the devices from which you access the Internet, such as IP address, device ID, its technical parameters, such as operating system, version, screen resolution, the selected browser and its version
Why do we process personal data and why are we entitled to it?
As part of our activity, we process personal data for different purposes and to different extents, namely:
without your consent on the basis of the performance of the contract, our legitimate interest or for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations, or
based on your consent.
What kind of data processing we can perform without your consent depends on the purpose for which the appropriate processing is related and in what relationship you act with us - whether you are just a visitor to our website, register with us or write an author's contribution for our portal.

Various videos of professional meetings, videos with educational content and professional contributions are available to registered users at www.ecoopedu.com. Some videos are freely available to all registered users, and some are only available to users in a specific area of expertise.
Processing of personal data on the basis of consent
We collect personal data of users for the purpose of administration and management of the database of registered users, for communication and informing users in case of technical or content issues, for the purposes of providing educational content by e-mail and for some other purposes:
notification of news on the portal www.ecoopedu.com;
informing about certain educational activities and meetings intended for the professional public or the general public;
obtaining information on the basis of which we will be able to improve our services for you in the future in order to create better conditions for the provision of video content and educational content.
In order to be able to prepare custom content for you, we analyze all the above data and obtain other derived data from them, which we use for this purpose. On the website of your user profile, you can subsequently change your privacy settings and the areas for which we may process your personal information. We use your personal information during the lifetime of your account, which you can delete at any time.

Processing of personal data on the basis of a legitimate interest

Who processes your personal information and with whom do we share it?
In most cases, we process your data for our own purposes as their controller. We also provide the data to our processors, who process it in accordance with our instructions. With your consent, we may also provide information to advertising and social networks for the display of custom ads on other websites.
All described personal data is processed by us as a controller. This means that we determine the purposes defined above, for which we collect your personal data and the methods of processing, and we are responsible for its proper implementation.
We also use the services of other processors for the processing of personal data, who process personal data only in accordance with our instructions and for the purposes described in the section Why do we process personal data and why are we entitled to it ?. From what sources do we obtain personal data?
We mostly obtain personal information directly from you through our website or when communicating with you.
We mostly process personal information that you provide to us directly during the creation and use of the account or when communicating with us, for example via email. We also obtain personal information directly from you by monitoring your online habits while browsing our website or reading our emails.
What are your rights in relation to the processing of personal data?
You have a number of rights in connection with your personal information. These include the right of access, review, deletion and restrictions on processing, transfer, objection and appeal.

Right of acquaintance

Right to repair
If you notice that the personal information we hold about you is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to request that we correct or supplement it as soon as possible.

In some cases, you have the right to have your personal information deleted. We will delete your personal information as soon as possible if any of the following reasons are met:

you have withdrawn your consent to the processing of personal data, which is data for the processing of which your consent is necessary, and at the same time we have no other reason to further process this data;
you have exercised your right to object to the processing of data (see section Right to object to the processing of data below) for personal data that we process on the basis of our legitimate interest, and we recognize that there are more legitimate interests that would justify further processing of this data. we don't have but

The right to restrict data processing

We must limit the processing of personal data:

if we process your personal data without an appropriate legal basis (eg above the intended scope), and you will only prefer to limit such data instead of deleting such data (eg if you anticipate that you will provide us with this data in the future);
if we no longer need your personal data for the purposes described above and you need it to determine, enforce or defend your legal claims, or
if you object to the processing of data. The right to object is described in more detail below under the heading "Right to object to data processing"). We must limit the processing of your personal data during the processing of your objection.
The right to data portability
You have the right to obtain from us all your personal data that you have provided to us and which we process with your consent (see the section If you register with us in the Doctors' Consultation portal) and on the basis of the implementation of the contract. We provide you with your personal data in a structured, standard and machine-readable form. Easy data transfer is only possible for data that we process automatically in our electronic databases.
Right to object to data processing
For reasons related to your specific situation, you have the right to object to the processing of personal data based on point (e) or (f) of Article 6 (1) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and to object to the processing of data for the purposes of direct marketing (see Why do we process personal data and why are we entitled to it?). We will immediately stop processing your data for marketing activities; in other cases, we will do the same unless we have legitimate reasons for processing that outweigh your rights or to enforce legal claims.
Right of appeal
The exercise of the above rights in no way affects your right to lodge a complaint with the competent authority. You can exercise this right in particular if you suspect that we are processing your personal data unjustifiably or contrary to generally binding legal regulations. You can complain about the data processing performed by us to the Information Commissioner at the address Zaloška cesta 59, 1000 Ljubljana.
How can you exercise certain rights?

We will fulfill your request as soon as possible, and in any case within one month. In exceptional cases, especially in the case of more complex claims, we have the right to extend this period by an additional two months. In the event that such an extension is necessary, and of course the reasons for it, we will of course inform you.
